Dancing Bears

Isn't this couple gorgeous?

I think they'd be pretty cute for an anniversary or an older persons wedding or maybe even an engagement.  Any occasion with a little sparkle ... and you know one of my fave embellishments is sparkle!

Floral Ring

Glitter-Glitter-Glitter with the Divas in July!

I used sponsor Bugaboo's image Flower Tag 1 (link below) coloured with Copics.
The outside of the flower is glittered with ArtDeco Glamour Dust which looks just like fine sugar.

The sentiment die includes the butterfly which I cut twice and doubled - the dark wine on top with a lighter rose pink underneath because the middle of the butterfly lifts.

You're a Star

This is for my daughter (she is a star anyway) who has just passed her final trade exam, while running a household with two kids and a more-than-fulltime job, setting up a business of her own AND charity fundraising.  You're a star Lauren !!

Stripes or checks is the theme at

and the sponsor image I have used is:

I coloured the image with Copics, then added glitter to her outfit.  I cut the striped paper so it left a cone shape for the spotlight and inked the edge of the spotlight and the edges of the paper with Distress Ink.  Printed the sentiment on the computer, diecut the star, glittered it, and matted onto silver mirror card.  This looks just like my daughter.

CAS Leaf

At The Crafters Cafe the challenge this time is CAS.
check out what my DTeamies have done:

Sponged colour onto leaf with Distress Inks, spritzed & dabbed (ink lifting technique), scored and folded the leaf then inked the ridges and edges.  Embossed the card using a strip EF in a stitched zigzag pattern, then stamped leaf on background using ghosting technique and painted over wink of Stella to look frosty.  Simple stamped sentiment.

Go Girl

For someone who just got their drivers license.

Die Cut Divas theme this month is "glitter"
check it out:
The image I used is from super sponsor Bugaboo:

I coloured the whole image with copics, then put glue on part of the car and used two layers of red Martha Stewart fine glitter.  I used d/s tape to make road markings and a strip below the sentiment and glittered that too.

Happy Day Hootie

Pop into The Crafters Café for the "Something with Wings" challenge.
I used sponsor Crafty Sentiments Hootie Rain Rain Go Away, and isn't it cute?

I coloured with copics,  added the rain using Kindyglitz.  Corrugated card, a couple of toning strips of paper, and a bit of twine tying on an umbrella charm, just what you need on a rainy day.
